I don’t have any human children to call my own but I do have two dogs that act like children and I treat them as such. I’ve been a dogs Mom for over two years and its one of my favorite things about my life and family. Brian and I talk to them like they will answer us, care for them like they are people, feed like like royalty, let them sleep with us (in a queen no less), and schedule quality time with them as if otherwise they would feel neglected (Miller actually does, he’s told me). I bring them absolutely everywhere I possibly can and make a quiet fuss about it whenever I can’t. They are a huge part of our family and the things they do and the stories they create with us can’t be matched by anything else that brings us this much happiness.
